The Justice and Behavioral Health Strategy Lab is an interactive library of programs, policies, practices, and project coordination materials that sites across the country have implemented to address unmet needs at the intersection of justice and behavioral health systems.

Strategy Lab entries are reviewed annually; however, The Council of State Governments (CSG) Justice Center cannot confirm the accuracy of the entries as they are submission-based. The local examples include time stamps and, where possible, contact information for the local example.

Submissions for local examples and interventions are considered and accepted on a rolling basis. If your submission is approved for publication, a CSG Justice Center representative will be in touch with you to gather any additional information needed and confirm that your submission will be uploaded.

To request connections to sites listed in the Strategy Lab for local examples and to learn more about the interventions listed in the Strategy Lab, submit a support request through the CSG Justice Center’s technical assistance centers.

If your request is related to law enforcement, submit your request via the Law Enforcement-Mental Health Collaboration Support Center. If your request is related to behavioral health and justice interventions in general, submit your request via the Center for Justice and Mental Health Partnerships. Note that current points of contact are not available for all local examples listed in the Strategy Lab.
